Rooted in a practice of drawing and interdisciplinarity, Véronique La Perrière M.’s work explores states of consciousness, processes of transformation, and the forces of imagination. Drawing appears in multiple forms, extending into the mediums of printmaking, sculpture, video, and installation. Through an approach that is both poetic and conceptual, she examines our relationship to time, history, and myth by tracing visual narratives that call for metamorphosis and dreamtime. Her work seeks to engage with threshold spaces and what lies beyond memory. Through a poetic engagement with the universe and materials, her practice aims to care for what within us is capable of dreams and visions.
