Dan Brault’s painting consists of an exciting amalgam of codes, styles and aesthetics that reveal the artist’s baroque sensibilities. Exploring space and metaphysics, euphoria and fantasy, his works create images of fleeting moments in suspended universes.
Dan Brault holds a BA in Fine Arts from Concordia University and a MA in Visual Arts from the Université Laval, and has exhibited his work at a number of venues including Neutral Ground (Regina, SK), the Centre des arts actuels SKOL (Montreal), Galerie Art-Image (Gatineau), Peak Gallery (Toronto), l’Œil de Poisson (Quebec City) and Le Lobe (Chicoutimi).
He has taken part in the Sharjah Biennial in the United Arab Emirates as well as the Festival Cultural de Mayo in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Dan Brault was also featured in the book 100 Painters of Tomorrow published in London in 2014 by Thames & Hudson.
