When Abdelilah Chiguer moved into the Belgo, an emblematic building housing several galleries and artist-run centers in the Quartier des spectacles, he felt well surrounded.<\/p>\n

“As a collector, I like the place, I find that there’s a closeness with the milieu, a profusion of works. Several colleagues were asking me when I’d be moving in and what they could do to make things easier for me. There’s a great spirit of mutual aid.”<\/p>\n

He will occupy space 416, which is about three-quarters the size of the gallery on rue Saint-Vallier Est in Quebec City, and has already recruited experienced staff.<\/p>\n
