Following the rhythm of the seasons and the flowers of her family garden, her semi-autobiographical scenes also incorporate everyday objects. Floral and geometric motifs, repeated like the mechanical gesture of embroidery, evoke patterns reminiscent of Pakistani textiles and carpets.
