Projet Casa and Artroduction are delighted to present a second group exhibition in Montreal, featuring the work of 16 Artroduction artists.
You will find works by: Alexanne Dunn, Alissa Bilodeau, Allison Moore, Chantal Blackburn, Carol-Ann Belzil-Normand, Clara Cousineau, Gabrielle Lajoie-Bergeron, Gabriel Rioux, Ingrid Tremblay, Jiwan Larouche, Jobena Petonoquot, Kevin Beaulieu, Laïla Mestari, Samuel St-Aubin, Sophia Borowska, and Wartin Pantois.
This exhibition explores the connection between the artists’ identities, which are most often multifaceted, and the influence they have on their artistic practices. Identity, like the artist’s work, is forged and developed through lived experience; identity influences add up without excluding one another.
What is the influence of artists’ identities on their artistic practices? This is the question that you will be able to explore while discovering this exhibition in this unique and historic place that is Casa Project. You will also be able to read the text that each artist has written to answer this same question.
